About Me & Woody Studio Desk
I’m a passionate musician and skilled joiner who combined a love for music and woodworking to create Woody Studio Desk—a workshop dedicated to crafting bespoke, high-quality studio desks.
With 27 years of experience as a guitarist and 15 years as a music lecturer, I hold a B.Ed. in Music Education. For the past six years, I’ve focused on working with special needs students, developing a unique computer-based music curriculum tailored to their learning needs.
While teaching musicians, DJs, and sound designers, I recognised a growing demand for well-designed, ergonomic home studio desks. This insight, paired with my expertise in joinery, inspired the launch of Woody Desk—where craftsmanship meets creativity and function.
With deep knowledge of studio gear and the practical needs of music professionals, I design and build custom studio workstations that prioritise comfort, workflow, and aesthetic appeal. Whether you're after a standard setup or a fully personalised piece, I’m here to bring your vision to life.
